We used our new lg shine camera today to take some pictures around the school ..... check them out - they're great - and we don't even know very much about taking photos!

Next week John is coming in to school to talk to us about taking pictures for our new Photo a Day for Schools project. We're going to show him our new camera phone!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER

 

My amusing story happend when I was taking part in the last galaday, to take place in Carronshore.

I was still in the nursery class and we had to dress up for the parade. I dressed up as a red Indian, but my dad said I looked more like Pocahontas, with big feathers stuck in my hair and war paint on as well.

 

After the parade there was a competition in a large marquee that had been put up in Gairdoch park. The compatision was to see who was the best dancer,out of all the children.

 

My Mum entered me into the competition. When the music started i begain to dance {the song was 5,6,7,8 by stepps}, which was my favourite song at the time. My parents said i was dancing like a loonatick, or somebody that was possesed.

 

 

I could not have been that bad a dancer because i won the competition. There was a lot of jelous people for example Daniel kemp also known as the hulk, but the worst loser of all was the evil wizard Marc Storrie ,hwo tried to put a spell on me for beating him.{nearly in tears}

 

 

So thats thats the story of how i became the champion dancer from Carronshore, well thats how it happend so my parents say.

Today i have been reading extracts for Anne Frank, a Jewish girl's diary.Now am going to write a little from the extracts i read.

I will describle the building... There is a small landing at the top... The right door leads to our 'secrect Annexe'. No one would ever guess that there would be so many rooms behind that plain, grey door.

                                                          My Hobby

 

 

 

Hi my name is Kayleigh, and i am going to write about my favourite hobby.My favourite is running.I go to a running club on a Thursday night after school.

 

 

     I started running in primary 5 . For the first couple of weeks it was very tiering because we had to exercise,warm up,go out running and exercise again.As the week went on a got faster at running.

 

 

     My hobby involes doing exercises,a warm up game,go out running and exercise again to losen the muscles.It also invloes racing agaist other schools,which i will talk about later.My feeling about running is that it keeps you fit and healthly,all i can really say it's a great sport even better and great,it's a great sport to do.
